Written by Channel 6 Portland. Posted in Homepage

The South Portland Wild Willy’s Burgers closed on Monday without issuing any intimation to its employees. Kitchen Supervisor Paul Jordan said that “last night I shook hand with my boss and said will meet you tomorrow sir”. But on Monday morning he received a call from his colleagues asking him to come and take his check. He said an interview to a private news agency that “my colleague told me that Wild Willy’s has been closed now”. He further said that it was really shocking for me that our owner did not inform us about the closure.
On the other hand, Jim Williams the president of Wild Willy said that “I had informed local owners that Sunday would be our last day but they did not inform to their employees”. He further said that we had been consistently receiving negative reviews however we mutually decided to close the restaurant.
Apart from this, Jordon said that there was paucity of workers in the restaurant. There were only 9 employees and they were carrying the responsibilities of 18 officials. Besides, Williams said that “I would reopen the restaurant if local owners change the size of restaurant apart from appointing efficient staff”. We are thinking for remodeling and we are going to pay full salary to our employees.
